Day 1: Visit Of Fes
Today, your local guide will pick you up at your hotel and help you discover the city of Fez, the intellectual and religious heart of Morocco. Our guide will take us to the Jewish quarter (Mellah), the royal palace and a panoramic view of the medina.
Fes is full of amazing places such as Medersa Bouinania, Medersa el-Attarine (theological colleges), Karouine University of the ninth century, whose architecture is very similar to that of Moorish Spain. Day 2: Fes – Chefchaouen
After having breakfast at your hotel, you will be welcomed by your guide and your transport. Your journey will begin with the city of Chefchaouen, in the north of the country, known for its charming palette of blue and white buildings. Once there, you can admire the culinary art of this region and stroll through its dazzling alleys. You will spend the night here in your hotel or your riad.
Day 3: Chefchaouen – Tetouan – Tangier
After breakfast, your journey continues in the port city of Tetouan. This city was the capital of the Spanish protectorate. It has a unique Hispano-Moorish character, visible in its attractive and timeless architecture. Later, the road will take us to the city of Tangier, the entrance to the Mediterranean and the gateway to Africa. This city is home to artists and many foreigners because of its unique captivating atmosphere. You will have the opportunity to watch for yourself. You will spend the night in your hotel or your riad in this city.
Day 4: Tangier – Asilah – Rabat
The day starts early after breakfast and your adventure will continue towards the city of Asilah, a beautiful white-walled city that will make you feel like you’re on a Greek island. Once there, you will experience the unique exotic culture of the city, a blend of Spanish Moroccan traditions present in all activities of daily life. We continue our route along the coast to the political capital of Morocco: Rabat. Night in Rabat. You will spend the night here in your hotel or your riad.
Day 5: Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes
After breakfast at the hotel, we will continue to explore Rabat with a visit to Chellah, an old Roman city and one of the most evocative sites of Rabat. Today, the abandoned city is overgrown with fruit trees and wildflowers. It is the ideal place to walk before taking the road to our next destination, the imperial city of Meknes.
Meknes was once the homeland of the Moroccan sultanate Moulay Ismail. You will explore this historic site here and be captivated by its magical and unique medina. Later, our trip will take us to the archaeological ruins of Volubilis. These ruins are an exceptional example of the different types of civilizations that have taken up residence in Morocco and are still present in the country’s cultural traditions. You can explore the ruins and stroll through this historic site.
Finally, we will arrive at the ancient city of Fez, the cultural capital of Morocco and one of the most complete medieval Islamic cities in the world. Your adventure today ends here, in your hotel or riad, where you can rest and refresh yourself.
